With Corey Moon

One-on-One Mentorship with Corey

A space for your child to be seen, supported, and encouraged in who they are becoming.

Some children need more than a class. They need someone who sees them—someone who can listen deeply, recognize what is emerging within them, and support the whole child: emotionally, creatively, physically, and developmentally.

One-on-one mentorship with Corey Moon offers children and teens an individualized space to explore their interests, gifts, ideas, challenges, and growing sense of self.

Rather than following a predetermined curriculum, mentorship begins with the young person in front of us.

What are they curious about? What lights them up? What are they trying to create, understand, or become? Where are they feeling stuck? And what kind of support would help them take their next step?

Sessions may weave together meaningful conversation, creative exploration, nervous system regulation, emotional awareness, self-leadership, goal setting, project development, entrepreneurship, embodied practices, and opportunities to explore the child's unique interests and abilities.

Supporting the Whole Child

Corey brings a unique combination of experience in education, mentorship, nervous system regulation, embodiment, and Neurosomatic Therapy. This allows her to notice and support not only what a child is thinking and feeling, but also how they are experiencing themselves through their body.

When appropriate, support may include nervous system regulation, body awareness, postural and structural observation, craniofacial balancing, and structural integration manual therapy to support greater physical balance, comfort, regulation, and healthy development.

This whole-person approach recognizes that development doesn't happen in separate pieces. How a child feels in their body can influence how they focus, move, communicate, regulate, create, relate, and experience the world around them.

For one young person, mentorship might mean bringing a business or creative idea to life. For another, it may mean developing confidence, learning to navigate emotions and relationships, discovering what they are passionate about, or receiving additional support in feeling more regulated and at home within their body.

Mentorship may support:

  • Confidence, self-trust, and authentic self-expression
  • Emotional awareness and nervous system regulation
  • Identifying strengths, interests, gifts, and passions
  • Developing ideas into real-world projects
  • Entrepreneurship and creative problem-solving
  • Navigating friendships, transitions, and challenges
  • Communication and self-advocacy
  • Goal setting and follow-through
  • Body awareness, regulation, and embodied development
  • Structural and craniofacial balance when appropriate
  • Intuition, inner listening, and discernment
  • Exploring purpose, contribution, and the person they are becoming

At InGenius, we believe education is ultimately about helping a human being come more fully into relationship with themselves, their community, their body, their gifts, and the contribution only they can make.

One-on-one mentorship creates space for that process to become deeply personal.

Does Your Genius Need a Mentor?

Maybe your child has an idea they can't stop talking about. Maybe they have a gift they want to develop, something they're struggling to navigate, or a body and nervous system asking for a little more support. Maybe they simply need another trusted adult who can see beyond behavior and performance to the whole human being underneath.

Together, we discover what wants to grow—and create the conditions to help it flourish.

Available for children and teens through InGenius Academy.
