Learn Together. Explore Together. Grow Together.

Crystal Beach Youth Center · 520 Crystal Beach Ave, Crystal Beach, FL 34681
Your Friday Homeschool Community

More than a co-op. A home base for your homeschool week.

Homeschooling offers families incredible freedom—but we were never meant to do it alone.

InGenius Homeschool Co-op is a consistent place for homeschool families to gather, build friendships, share meals, connect with other parents, explore interests, and simply enjoy being in community together.

Some children will spend their Friday taking enrichment classes. Others may take one class and spend the rest of their time connecting, creating, playing, exploring, or working on something they love.

There is no need to fill every hour.

Come for the community. Add the enrichment experiences that light your child up.

Friday Enrichment Offerings

Enrichment Classes

10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Our Friday Co-op is a community gathering day built around enrichment classes. Choose the classes and experiences that fit your child's interests — from hands-on making and movement to music, mentorship, and one-on-one support.

🌿

Parent & Child

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

A gentle morning program for parents and their little ones (birth to 3½) to play, explore, and connect through rhythm, song, and creative play.

🧒

Early Childhood

Ages 3½–7 · Fridays · 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Our Early Childhood class is designed for children ages 3½–7, offering a warm, nurturing environment where children learn through play, imagination, creativity, movement, and meaningful participation. Led by an experienced Early Childhood teacher, each class follows a gentle rhythm of creative play, songs and movement, storytelling, artistic activities, and hands-on experiences. Honoring the important developmental work of early childhood, children are given space to explore at their own pace, build relationships, develop confidence and independence, and strengthen social-emotional skills through joyful shared experiences. It is a gentle bridge into greater independence while preserving the wonder, creativity, and natural curiosity of childhood.

DIYT — Do It Yourself, Together!

Ages 10+

DIYT (Do It Yourself, Together!) is more than just a craft class—it's a space for kids to learn practical, hands-on skills they can actually use in real life while creating projects they'll be proud to use, gift, or even sell! Together, we'll explore everything from basic tool use, painting and carpentry to sculpting, macramé, jewelry making, and so much more. Each two-hour class gives us plenty of time to learn, experiment, create, and connect in a relaxed, social environment—because creating is just more fun together!

🎉

IRL Events

Ages 12+

In this hands-on course, students become the team behind two real life events—a social designed by the students themselves—and the next Pinellas Homeschool Community Showcase! They'll take ideas from the "wouldn't it be cool if…" stage all the way to opening day, getting real experience with budgeting, marketing, design, vendors, sponsors, logistics, guest experience, teamwork and troubleshooting. Some of our learning will even take us outside the classroom as we meet with people, visit locations and work behind the scenes. Students won't just learn how events happen—they'll have a voice in the decisions, real responsibilities and two finished events they can proudly say "I helped make that happen." Real people. Real events. Real experience.

🧘

Young Yogis

Students leave with a new practical tool they can use at home, in relationships, and in everyday challenges—along with a stronger sense of confidence in themselves.

🧘‍♀️

Thoughtful Teens

If you decide to become a Community Member, your $33 Experience Friday fee will be applied toward your $150 annual membership.

Sometimes you just have to experience a community to know if it feels like yours.

What Does Membership Look Like?

There isn't one right way to do Friday.

One family may come primarily because their children want a consistent group of friends.

Another may build their day around two enrichment classes.

Another child may take one class, eat lunch with friends, create something in the open studio, and spend the afternoon outside.

Another family may come because the parent needs community just as much as the child does.

The classes are part of the co-op. They aren't the reason you belong.

Membership creates the shared home.

Enrichment lets each child decide what they want to explore within it.

A Community We Build Together

A true co-op isn't something families simply attend.

We create it together.

Throughout the year, families will have opportunities to contribute their gifts, ideas, interests, time, and creativity to our Friday community.

That might look like helping with a shared meal, supporting a community event, sharing a skill, caring for our space, helping with a project, or simply being one of the people who makes another family feel welcome.

We want children to experience something important:

This isn't just a place I come to. This is a community I am part of.

Community Meals

Food has a way of bringing people together.

Our Friday rhythm includes opportunities to gather around a shared community meal—giving children and adults time to slow down, connect, talk, and simply be together.

Families will have opportunities throughout the year to contribute to meals and participate in the rhythms that help care for our shared community.

Parent & Child

Our Parent and Child classes are for parents with children from birth to 3½ years old. Led by an experienced Early Childhood teacher, the Parent and Child program is a nurturing, gentle transition from home life to school. While the children play and explore, parents will get a glimpse into the rhythm and philosophy of an early childhood educational philosophy that nurtures the whole child through discussion, meaningful work, and artistic projects. Songs, movement, and a short puppet play complete a joyful morning together.

These sessions emphasize child observation and parent-child interaction in a supportive atmosphere that allows parents to learn healthy rhythms and activities appropriate for early childhood while their children engage in creative play and artistic activities with the teacher, parents, and each other.

Parent & Child Program

Birth to 3½ years

Supported Tuition Available

We want aligned families to be able to participate.

A limited number of community-supported tuition spaces are available for families who need additional financial flexibility.

If InGenius feels like the right community for your family but the cost of enrichment creates a barrier, we invite you to reach out.

Scholarship Families Welcome

FES-UA + PEP

InGenius welcomes families utilizing FES-UA and PEP scholarship funds.

Eligible enrichment and educational services may qualify for scholarship funding or reimbursement in accordance with current Step Up For Students requirements.

Our team can provide appropriate invoices and documentation for eligible InGenius enrichment experiences.

Because scholarship eligibility and reimbursement requirements can vary by program, provider, instructor credentials, and service, families should confirm eligibility for their individual scholarship before enrollment.

Personalized Mentorship

Private Tutoring & Mentorship with Elasa

Private Tutoring and Mentorship with Elasa is an additional service available to students attending InGenius Academy, participating in our Friday Co-op, or simply feeling called to receive personalized one-on-one support. Elasa offers afternoon tutoring and mentorship hours designed around each student's unique needs, gifts, goals, and stage of development.

Sessions may include academic support, conscious reality creation, confidence building, skill development, entrepreneurship, service projects, creative ideas, inventions, business blueprints, and preparation for the next steps into adulthood. This individualized mentorship allows each student to receive focused guidance in the exact areas where they are ready to grow, create, and bring their genius into the world.

Eligible families may also use InGenius Academy in-house scholarship funds or approved Step Up For Students scholarship funds toward these services.
